The cleaning kit is essential to maintain the hygiene and disinfection of the tube, which is needed for the ME 120 inhaler, the Propo steam (propolis vaporizer) and the Api Aerosol (for hive breathing). If the tube is not cleaned properly after inhalation, moisture can linger inside the tube and affect the development of micro-organisms (bacteria, mould, etc.) that we do not want to introduce into the lungs.<\/p>\n

Using a\u00a0hose with a smooth interior<\/a>\u00a0is recommended as it is much easier to clean \u2013 use the special hose cleaning tool in this kit. In addition, it can be used for several seasons. Notched hoses need to be replaced more often (once a season) and are more time-consuming to clean.<\/p>\n

Why is it advisable to use the Me127 Set for cleaning masks, accessories and tubing in aerosol therapy ?<\/h4>\n

When using aerosol or other respiratory devices, attention should always be paid to the cleaning system of the entire assembly exposed to the drug, saline or inhaled or exhaled air before or after use of the device. Because of the materials used, it is not always possible to sterilise the product, as this would damage it. A very good guideline is to clean with 70% alcohol applied to a sterile compress to clean the parts of the inhaler that need to be cleaned.<\/p>\n
